Midterm Group Critique

My work focus is on Abstract Expressionism. I like using color and layering to create texture and movement. I have been referencing artists such as Gerhard Richter, Grace Hartigan, Joan Mitchell, and Hale Woodruff. The work is arranged from most recent to least. Last semester critiques from the professors were to work on showing progression, make work more cohesive and work on a larger scale. This semester I am incorporating building confidence and experimenting. And develop my practice.
